Cross stitch is one of my favourite hobbies. I find the repetitive, careful stitching helps me to unwind whilst sitting in-front of a Netflix binge.
Self-drafted patterns means patterns that are self-made. I use a program called Stitches for Mac OS (requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later).
Cymru am byth (Wales forever)
This was piece was created as a house warming present.
It was the first time I had used metallic thread, which was very difficult to work with. Also, it was the first time using smaller sized aida fabric, which was challenging. Originally I had included pearl beads, which you can see in the first image. However these did not lie well beneath the glass, so I reluctantly had to remove them.
